Once again, this year's the best collective foundations in Switzerland were honored. The winners were those pension funds that made it to the top in a comparison. Our  Liberty 1e Flex Invest Foundation is one of them.

Weibel Hess & Partner, an asset, pension, and insurance advisor, took a close look at Swiss collective foundations and compared them according to risk and administration costs, performance and interest rates as well as service quality. The best collective foundations in Switzerland each received an award, which «SonntagsZeitung» and «Finanz und Wirtschaft» presented for the 18th time.

The best  investment returns

The award for the best investment return over three years (2020-2022) among the semi-autonomous community and collective foundations went to Stiftung Abendrot. It thus relegated Asga Pensionskasse and Copré to second and third place. In the full insurance category, Pax took 1st place followed by Swiss Life and Helvetia.

The highest interest rate

The award for the highest interest rate over ten years goes to Profond. In previous years, it had already been able to grant the highest interest rates to its policyholders over a ten-year horizon. Insureds of Ascaro and Groupe Mutuel received slightly less but still nice interest. In the category of comprehensive insurers, the field is very tight: Allianz Suisse takes the top spot, followed by Baloise and Swiss Life.

The most favorable offer for SMEs

Mystery shopping was used to test the risk premiums and administrative costs for an SME. The prices offered again showed a wide range. Tellco pkPRO submitted the most favorable offer among the semi-autonomous joint and collective foundations. AXA Professional Invest and Patrimonia came in second. In the comprehensive insurance segment, Pax was ranked ahead of Baloise and Helvetia.

The most favorable offer for management solutions

In the mystery shopping of executive pension solutions, Liberty 1e Flex Invest Foundation submitted the offer with the lowest risk and administration costs. Its offer was slightly lower than Agilis 1e and Finpension1e.

The best quality of service

To assess the quality of service, a focus topic is defined each year. This year, the languages in which the most important documents, such as the pension fund regulations or the pension certificates, are available were examined. In addition, the content of the websites was checked by numerous test persons. This year, Profond took the top spot in terms of service quality, with Futura and AXA Professional Invest in the other places on the podium.
