Success entails growth at all levels
Liberty Pensions has made a number of organisational changes in response to the strong growth in its client base and entrusted pension assets. Staff has been increased and new premises leased.
It has been over five years since Liberty Pensions established its first foundation in Schwyz with a staff of one. Meanwhile, Liberty has four foundations and a staff of twelve. So, by last summer, the organisation was literally bursting at the seams.
In spring, Management therefore decided to enlarge the organisation. New positions were created, employees were hired and additional premises leased.
New logistics and finance departments
Product and project management, and operations and finance were separated and reorganised under the oversight of Urs Schläpfer. A new head of product and project management, Antonio Mercandante, was hired in September to assist Urs Schläpfer. Further assistance will come in December when Renato Mologni joins the team as head of operations.
Pension plan and securities consulting split off
Executive management under Oliver Bienek and pension plan and securities consulting and distribution under Barbara Bienek have now moved to a separate floor. To accommodate the organisational changes, new office premises were leased and operations spread out over two floors.
Liberty Pensions should now have sufficient capacity to cope with growth and any necessary organisational adjustments in the foreseeable future.
