Liberty Foundation for Vested Pension Benefits: a user-friendly BVG/LPP-compliant investment

Since 2005, Liberty has supported FINMA-licensed asset managers in the management of third-party vested benefits and pension assets. Liberty also offers their clients a broad selection of attractive partner banks for their securities transactions and deposits.

FINMA asset managers can manage Liberty vested pension assets.

Asset managers licensed by FINMA can be banks, securities brokers, managers of collective investment schemes and asset managers of Swiss collective investment funds (KAG/LPCC). Only they are authorised to accept asset management mandates.  Direct Invest basically offers all the investment possibilities contemplated under Articles 49 to 58 of the Ordinance on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVV2/OPP2).

Asset managers belonging to a self-regulating organisation (SRO), such as VSV, VQF or Poly Reg, are no longer allowed to accept asset management mandates for vested pension benefits. SRO asset managers and consultants (such as financial planners, pension consultants, etc.) may, however, continue to act as consultants for their clients. Liberty offers them the option of investing through BVG/LPP Fund Invest and Multi Fund Invest.

Updated forms and regulations

Liberty is responsible for the forms and contractual documentation, for compliance aspects (e.g. monitoring investment guidelines), back office and all benefits-related questions. The relevant forms have now been updated to comply with the changes in legislation. The individual forms are clearer and more user-friendly. They are easy to fill in on the computer.

Transparent account and deposit administration

Clients wishing to make use of our services can fill in and send us the relevant form; they will then receive the corresponding transaction slip.
